Oxnard, CA — The JV Buena Bulldogs faced off against the Rio Mesa Spartans in their last non-league contest. The JV Bulldogs defense was lead by linebacker Suvam Shrestha who sparked the defense with his effort throughout the game. As for the offense, running back Chase Pritchard, quarterback Eddie Kaylor, and newly appointed offensive lineman Trevor McCormick all contributed to the Bulldogs rushing attack. Unfortunately, the Bulldogs fell to the Spartans by a score of 35-0. The JV Buena Bulldogs look forward to taking advantage of their bye week in order to prepare for league play.
