Fabens, TX — After a strong preseason, our Fabens Wildcats faced off against the Santa Teresa Warriors. The team showed it's youth with a few early mistakes that led to Santa Teresa touchdowns. However, the team showed great resolve after receiving halftime adjustments from Coach Belshe and his staff. The second half was a completely different ball game as the Wildcats battled back with big plays from the likes of Miguel Delgado, Alan Sierra, and Isaac Urrutia. Each player had a stellar game and displayed leadership for our younger players to follow. Unfortunately, the second half comeback wasn't to be. Our young Wildcats fell after four quarters of action, 26-12. This foundation building experience will propel the team into next week's battle against Tornillo High School. The game will take place at home in Wildcat Stadium on September 3rd, at 7pm. GO CATS!
