Modesto, CA — CM STARS 13U lost the lead late in a 9-2 defeat to Alamo city wolfpack on Friday. The game was tied at two with Alamo city wolfpack batting in the top of the sixth when Rodolfo C grounded out, scoring one run. The CM STARS 13U struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time defensively containing Alamo city wolfpack, giving up nine runs. Alamo city wolfpack scored six runs in the seventh inning. Alamo city wolfpack offense in the inning was led by Christopher W, Andrew A, Lino G, Matthew P, and Rodolfo, all knocking in runs in the inning. Rodolfo got the start for Alamo city wolfpack. The fireballer surrendered two runs on five hits over seven innings, striking out 11 and walking one. Will G was on the pitcher's mound for CM STARS 13U. The bulldog surrendered three runs on four hits over six innings, striking out four and walking one. Brady E and Brady D entered the game from the bullpen, throwing two-thirds of an inning and one-third of an inning respectively. Blake W led CM STARS 13U with two hits in three at bats.
