Anaheim, CA — The JV Lions played error-free baseball and shut out the Servite Friars 8-0 to take game one of their three-game series. Casey Coady and Braden Wellen were on the hill for JSerra and pitched a two-hit gem while striking out seven Friars. The Lions amassed ten hits on the day. Dillion Martin, Jake Bourne, and Jackson Summers had 2 RBI apiece. The JV Lions face the Friars in game two at St. Pierre Field on Wednesday at 3:15 PM.
