About Me

My name is Josiah Dobson. I am nine (9) years old and will be in the 4th grade this Fall. My favorite subjects are Math and Science, however, I like to read in my spare time. I have taken an interest in track and field for the first time this year. I have discovered my niche! I have run in 100 and 400 meter races. and received several metals for shot put, javelin, and long jump. I am excited about learning new things! I am beginning to understand the meaning of "practice makes perfect." Continued practice leads to success. I thank God for my new gift in track and field. I now qualify for the 2017 Junior Olympics in shot put, javelin, and long jump with the 10 East Track and Field team. My goals are to continue to make good grades in school and focus on more training in track and field. I want to improve my skills, learn good sportsmanship, and hopefully receive scholarships for college in track and field for years to come.
