About Me

Hi, my name is Hailey. I am 8 years old in 3rd grade. I am a competitive dancer at Star Struck Dance Studio in Yucca Valley on the Divas team. This is my first year competing in dance. I started dancing during the summer of 2021. I first took a ballet and tumbling class. During the next fall semester, I enrolled in cheer and had my first recital in December. I loved dancing on the stage. During the next semester I chose to do more classes to expand my dance skills. I enrolled in Hip-Hop, Ballet, tumbling and Cheer. 1 month before the recital for all the dances, I broke by arm. My injury didn't stop me. Two weeks after surgery, I performed all my dances in the June 2022 recital and matched my cast to each costume. Star Struck coaches were so supportive and encouraged me to continue dancing. I tried out for the team and made it on the Divas dance team for the 2023 competitive season. I am improving every week thanks to the amazing coaches and can't wait to see where my dance journey takes me.
