chino Hills, CA — As a team, the lady vanguards had a solid showcase taking 13th out of 45 teams. This tournament showcased some of the best girls wrestling has to offer with multiple girls ranked in the nation and in the world. Senior Captain Brittany Sanchez came into the tournament as the number 3 seed and found herself in the finals where she had a strong performance but ultimately came up short. Some of the young girls on the team also had solid performances making it to the second day for the first time.
