Riverside, CA — The Sunny Hills Lancers finished their season at the CIF-SS Prelims. The Varsity Girls ran in Heat 1 of 2 and was led by Esther Fee to a 22nd place finish out of 25 teams in their heat. In Division 2, the Lady Lancers finished 40th out of 50 teams. Esther finished 51st with a time of 19:14.2 and 96th out of 372 Division 2 racers! The Varsity Boys ran in Heat 1 of 2 and was led by Zachary Gomez to an 18th place finish out of 23 teams. In Division 2, the Lancers finished 34th out of 47 teams. Zachary finished 23rd in his heat and saw a new Personal Best for the course with a time of 15:40.8 and improving his time by 32 seconds! Emiliano Zavala also saw a new Personal best for the course with a time of 17:22.7 and improving his time by 30 seconds! Overall, the Lady Lancers finished 118th out of 233 teams, across all Divisions. Top Racer, Esther Fee, places 255th out of 1684 racers for the day. Overall, the Lancers finished 114th out of 241 teams. Top Racer, Zachary Gomez, places 98th out of 1736 racers for the day.
