Orange, CA — The Lady Vanguards Faced off with the Beckman Patriots in the first home dual of the season. Beckman is a young and hungry team that was looking to make a statement with a victory over the vanguards. However, the vanguards wrestled hard and came out victorious. The lady vanguards won the dual by a score of 36-21 improving their dual record on the year to 3-3. The Standout Performer of the day was Karen Bello winning her match by fall in the first period. Next up the vanguards will wrestle at Santa Ana High School in a very tough individual tournament.
