Lessons Learned, Character Gained
Big Bear was a tough team that returned all but one of their starters from the previous season. Our girls fought hard all game and did not let that intimidate them. We kept it close in the first quarter and we ended the first half with a 14-point deficit, 21-7. Unfortunately, the score did not play our way in the end. Corrie ended the game with 6 points, followed closely by Kaitlyn and Irene with 4 points each. Jordan led the team with 11 rebounds and Katie came in with 5 rebounds. We never enjoy losing, but I am thankful for the improvements we saw throughout the game. I hope the girls learned from their mistakes and we could now bring our full attention to our game against AAE today.
