Description

Exciting preseason training offered below by Coach Rick Simmons: Dear Parents, I hope this message finds you and your family well. As we approach another exciting youth football season, I am thrilled to announce that my gym (Iron Mongers Gym) is hosting a special Strength, Speed, and Agility Camp tailored to our young athletes. This camp is designed to enhance their physical capabilities and instill a sense of discipline, teamwork, and sportsmanship that will benefit them both on and off the field. Here are some key details about the camp: Who is it for? If you are getting this email, then we want you here. If you know of new athletes who could join our team this year, we would like them to be there, too. When? The camp will run two days each week. Starting June 7th, it will be every Wednesday and Friday from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. We expect to start at 11 a.m., so please arrive a little early and be ready to go at 11. Where? At Iron Mongers Gym, we are equipped with all the necessary tools and equipment to ensure a fun and challenging training experience. Iron Mongers Gym 2494 S. Santa Fe Ave. Vista CA 92084 Cost? Absolutely free! Our goal is to support the development of young athletes in our community. What to expect? Professional coaching focuses on strength, speed, and agility drills tailored for football. Fun and engaging team-building activities. A supportive and positive environment that encourages personal growth and teamwork. It is an opportunity to make new friends and learn from peers with a similar passion for football. The best teams work together, and the more time we are all together, the better we will perform on the field this upcoming year. Safety First: The health and safety of our athletes is a top priority. All activities will be conducted under the supervision of experienced coaches. This is not to say it won’t be challenging. If your kid/s are active, they will do just fine. If they aren’t accustomed to moving around or getting some exercise/activity during their day, then I would suggest some simple things to do leading up to our camp are bodyweight squats, sit-ups, jumping jacks, push-ups, or plank holds; these are all simple things that can be done in or outdoors. Additionally, we ask that your kid bring a water bottle (we have a water machine at the gym but don’t provide cups) and athletic shoes (no Crocs, flip flops, etc.).
