The joy on Olivia's face beating her Freshman time was absolutely priceless today! She has had to overcome a lot of obstacles to get back to this race time. Olivia has been working extremely hard all season and it was so awesome to see her not only run in the 21s, but beat her old PR! 2. Brooklyn Jones: Today Brooklyn ran a 25:09 smashing her old PR of 26:26! We have been waiting for a break out performance from Brooklyn and today was that day! She has been battling a lot of sickness this season, but since June has been working her tail off to be the best runner she can be and reach her full potential. It was so awesome to see all of the pieces fall into place for Brooklyn today and be rewarded with a huge PR! 3. Korrtney Koirth: Today Korrtney ran a 26:18 beating her old PR of 26:58! Korrtney has been struggling with a knee injury and it was awesome to see her healthy again today and running to her full potential! Great job today Korrtney and lets keep the momentum going! 4. Luke Griffith: Luke Griffith placed 8th overall medaling in the Boys Varsity race running a 16:54 today. This was a great race for Luke after not having a full week of practice working through an ankle issue. He will look to go after a Top finish next weekend at League! 5. Nathan Lewis: Today Nathan ran a new PR 17:42 beating his old PR 17:51! Nathan is our hype man and boy did he bring it today! This young man is such a hard worker at practice and is a smart runner. All season he has been hovering around the low 18s and it was great to see him have his break through race today! He will look to keep the momentum going at League! 6. Levi Brownell: Today Levi ran a new PR 18:25 beating his old PR 18:46! Levi is perhaps the hardest runner on our team always giving 110% each race/workout. He wanted a PR bad today and knew he had to step up with Ayden Smith unable to race. Levi came up big for us today and got the PR he has been chasing all season! Lets keep the momentum going into League and Regionals Levi! 7. Eli Griffith: Today Eli ran a season best 20:04! Eli has been battling sickness for the past couple weeks and today he looked to be feeling better and all of the pieces fell into place for him! 19:53 is Eli's personal record and he will look to go after it next weekend at League! 8. Cooper Stelling (Mr. PR!): Cooper ran a 21:47 today beating his old PR of 22:00. Each race this season Cooper has ran a PR which I don't believe I have ever seen in my tenure as a head coach. Cooper is such a great example of what hard work and determination looks like. Us coaches are so proud of you and how you keep improving each week Cooper! Lets go after another one next week at League! 10. Cole Bennington: "Ka-Chow!" - Lighting Mcqueen! Cole yelled this out as he ran past Coach Andrews during the race! Aiden I hope you get some! :) 12. Jordy Doornbos: Today Jordy ran a 25:54 beating his old PR of 26:11! Jordy kept the momentum going from Halstead and ran another PR! Lets keep the momentum going Jordy and get the trifecta at league! 13. Zach Montgomery: Just like Jordy; Zach also kept the momentum going from Halstead and ran a new PR of 26:02!
