Plainfield, NJ — 2024 UCIAC Individual Track Championship HYRCAK (DISCUS), WRIGHT (HIGH JUMP) WIN COUNTY CHAMPIONSHIPS JR Art Hrycak crushed the field to become the UNION COUNTY DISCUS CHAMPION! He threw a career best of 159’05”. JR Sanaa Wright jumped a career tying best of 5’04” to become the UNION COUNTY HIGH JUMP CHAMPION! The Girls team finished in 4th place while the boys placed 9th of the 21 participating schools... JR Caitlin Owens placed 3rd in the 3200M running 12:16.01! The Girls 4x400M relay placed 3rd running 4:03.09 (JR Isa Alvarez-Gomez, JR Ellie Semple, SOPH Lilly Costello, SOPH Courtney Toy).  SOPH Courtney Toy had a great meet placing 4th in the 1600M (5:16.15) and 6th in the 800M running a career best of 2:19.34. SR Damara Barnes placed 5th in the Triple Jump (37’07.25”). SR Kristen Fries placed 3rd in the Shot Put (36’09.5”) and 5th in the Discus (104’11”). SR Ben Fossella placed 5th in the Shot Put (47’05.5”). JR Isa Alvarez-Gomez placed 5th (1:05.75)in the 400IH while SOPH Lilly Costello placed 6th (1:06.47-PB).
