., MI — Mimose Sandborn Senior, Defender Mimose Sandborn has been playing soccer for 3 years and has been a 3 year varsity starter in our program. During her sophomore season Mimose was the winner of the most improved player award and finished the season as an all conference honorable mention player. She has been a core foundation of our defense for the past 3 seasons. How has the game of soccer impacted your life? “Soccer has improved my social skills and teamwork skills. I love being with my friends and have a great time playing.” What is your favorite thing about being involved with soccer? “I love when we scrimmage and play games with each other. I love how hard we work as a team and how well we communicate with each other. Finally, I love when coach joins us in games or scrimmages.” What other school activities are you involved in besides soccer? “Nothing…only soccer” Share a fun fact or two about yourself. “I love to relax and do nothing in my free time.” Coaches quote about Mimose: “Mimose is the type of soccer player that steps on to the soccer field and really comes out of her shell. When Mimose steps onto the soccer field, she is one of the most vocal and physical players on the entire field every time.
