Pine Bush Takes Dominating 15-1 Win Over Newburgh
In a dominating performance, Pine Bush Girls Lacrosse secured a commanding 15-1 victory over Newburgh. The team came out fast, scoring five goals in the first quarter and finishing the first half with nine. Through the second half they pulled away even more and distributed the ball throughout the team. Sam Budney and Julia Tanner showcased with four goals each, while Sophia Licardi contributed three goals to the scoreboard. Fiona Varley netted two goals, while Mackenzie Brown and Katie Cragan each added a goal, with both players standing out with six draw controls apiece. Kate Harris's solid defense and six ground balls were instrumental in maintaining possession for Pine Bush. Grace Grant made seven saves in goal. Despite fatigue from back-to-back games, the team displayed intensity and teamwork throughout. Pine Bush improves to 5-2 on the season.
