When: Saturday, March 30th Where: Merrol Hyde Magnet School Soccer Field – 128 Township Drive Hendersonville Time: 9:30-11:00 What to Wear/Bring: -SCHS soccer shirt -Comfortable shoes or cleats to run in. If you need community service hours bring your form to be signed or email to [email protected]. What to Expect: Upon arrival players will sign in and make a name tag. Once all Buddies have arrived expectations and a basic schedule of activities will be shared. At 10:00 Stars Players begin to arrive. Buddies and players will be paired. The Buddy will get their Stars’ player card. This card will give you some information about the player and how best to work with them. Each group will follow instructions from the coaching staff. The Buddy’s job is to model soccer skills, model appropriate behaviors, cheer them on, and make it the best hour of their week (no pressure 😊). This is such an amazing volunteer experience! We need all of the boys we can get.
