Myerstown, PA — The Annville-Cleona Track and Field team split their Dual at ELCO on Thursday with the Girls earning their first victory of the season. Both the Boys and Girls put together nice performances both on the track and the field, with lots of PR's earned throughout the day. The Girls Score ended as 93-57 while the Boys suffered a loss with 55.5-94.5. Along with finally having our first meet, our Team is growing/bonding together to become the best they can be. On the girls side, the 4x800 relay was victorious as well as the following individuals: Miracle Hershey (100,200), Sophia Caporaletti (400), Addy Sanchez (800), Mackenzie Stellmach (1600,3200), Jenna Ulrich (High Jump), and Ainsley Sellers (Discus). On the boys side, the 4x800 relay was victorious as well as the following individuals: David Moran (800), Landon Hostetter (3200), and Bryson Fogelsanger (Javelin). The 3200 Meter Crew of Landon Hostetter, Oliver Funck, Matthew Clemson, Mackenzie Stellmach, Emily Maag, and Anna Lezon were able to "Sweep" the event and earn 9 points each for their teams. With so many great performances, the coaches has a tough time choosing our Athletes of the Week. The following athletes were selected: Miracle Hershey & Jon Moran (Sprints), Anna Lezon & Hunter Troxell (Distance), Madi Long & Wes Heller (Jumps), and Ainsley & Hudson Sellers (Throws).
