Riverside, CA — Hillcrest boys started the meet hot with a big PR in the 4x100 running a 44.5. Girls distance team fought their way to a third place finish in the 1600 (Hailey A) Newcomers In the girls jumps went First and Second in the Long jump. (Lielani and Isabella C) In the sprints Darius Taylor takes down is 100 time and runs a very fast 11.27 Nick Shaw got third with a time of 11.52 almost a PR. Boys distance out did themselves going 2nd and 3rd in the 1600. Freshman Daniel.C and Ayden.F both PRd by 10 seconds running 4:54 virtually tying. Daniel. C also won the 800 today! Hurdles looked strong today Sophomore Kahlil.P ran a 16.5 in the 110H and ran a PR in the 300h taking first in both events. We had such a great turnout today and this isn’t even half of the great performances we had today. Boys walk away with a win while the girls came up a little short losing by 11. So many great PRs and we can’t wait for what the future hold!
