Jackson, MI — Holt Girls Bowling Team ventured south to Jax60 to compete in the Mel Wolfe Tournament Saturday, Jan 27th. After the first two full team games, Holt was positioned 4th in a field of 26 teams at 1595. High games in the qualifying set came from Lola Knox with a 225 and Madison Rue rolling a 220 game. Next came the 8 bakers games and after a slow start, game three went big with a nice 231 game! The Lady Rams finished big with another 231, 200 and 184 in the Baker game round, moving the girls into the 3rd slot and qualifying spot. We were matched up against the Mounties of Northwest School, in a best 2 out of 3 baker game match up. The Lady Rams fought hard, but fell short, and their day was done.
