Thompsonville, MI — "Friday may have had the best conditions we have seen all season, it helped our Invitational run smoothly and even a little ahead of schedule. Crystal Mountain has really supported ski racing and help our team have an incredible season. We are very happy with the move north and are excited about the future of our team at Crystal Mountain."
"Our guys came out and skied well in tough field of teams Friday. Our seniors skied well and we had some incredible racing from our younger skiers too! We allow teams to race their JV teams at our race and we raced a Varsity Team, JV 1 and JV 2 teams. All of our kids pushed it hard and knocked out some exciting runs"
The Varsity team placed 5th, JV 1 placed 9th and our JV 2 placed 11th out of the 13 boys teams at the race.
Medaling for Varsity team were DJ Potgeter 11th place SL, Aidan Brown 11th place GS, and Brayden Smith 12th place GS. Brayden Smith also placed 17th in SL, Aidan Brown 25th SL, Derick Pritchard 28.5 th GS, Cohen Broomfield 33rd GS, and Ben Diegel 24th SL.
Scoring for JV 1 were Peter Calhoun (28.5th GS & 36th SL), James Diegel (39th SL & 40th GS), Gavin Dean (38th SL & 43rd GS), James Harper (42nd GS) and James Pritchard (47th SL).
Scoring for JV 2 were Rydik Wrubel (46th GS & 46th SL), Brennan Donnelly (44th SL & 50th GS), Max Doll (48th GS), Mason Langeland (50th SL), Jackson Pugh (52nd GS) and Braylon Walma (51st SL).
