Irvine, CA — Matthew Galindo returned to the sweepstakes race to represent Savanna High School for the second year in a row. And last year‘s event, he said his new school record for best 3 mile time ever. Entering the race, he was determined to do even better. It was a stacked race with top runners from all over the state and, many top teams from other western states. Matthew ran a tremendous race and knocked off 19 seconds from his school record with a blistering 14:33 race to finish in the top 50 overall.
