Hawks win home opener in dramatic comeback
All the prep and the work came down to more adversity. Trailing 20-7 after giving up 20 unanswered having the starting QB knocked out for a play the Hawks faced 2nd and long deep in their own end. Back up QB Dakota Dodge came in completed a screen pass to Henry Downey and the momentum shifted back to the Hawks. Cache Beus finished the drive with a TD to Mason Krahn and we were back in the game.
