., MI — Tammy Ledesma Senior, Goalkeeper/Midfield Tammy Ledesma has played soccer every year since she was in high school, minus the 2020 covid season. Tammy played soccer for 3 years before high school and has started numerous games at a variety of positions throughout her high school career. In her first start as a goalkeeper her senior year, she finished the game with a clean sheet shutout. How has the game of soccer impacted your life? “I’ve made friends with girls I never thought I'd talk to and gained lots of support and motivation from people outside of my family.” What is your favorite thing or memory from being involved with soccer? “Our PK shootout last year against Lansing Eastern. The thrill and excitement brought the team closer together.” What other school activities are you involved in besides soccer? “Student Council, Prom Committee, S.A.D.D. secretary, interactive club, ICCC Health Occupations.” Share a fun fact or two about yourself. “I’m going to EMU to be a neonatal nurse.” Coaches quote about Tammy: “Tammy is the type of player that will do anything it takes to help her team.
