Riverside, CA — What’s big day! Boys needed a win to stay atop the River Valley League. Two unbeaten teams battled it for first place. Hillcrest win by a narrow margin 67-65. Boys remain unbeaten as they move into the final week of the regular season to take on Norte Vista. Boys and girls both had some big marks today. Nick Love went 3 for 3 winning the 100,200,400 and helping the 4/100 team to a win. Vianey Lowe had a good day going 3rd in the 200 and 400 running a nice PR of 1:06 in the 400. Nylah, Mariana and Lexi all ran great 200 times today! Distance had a day all the girls in the 800 Regina Rianna and Hailey all had PR’s. Carlos gets 2nd in the 1600 and 3rd in the 3200. Nash Hansen goes 2:14 for a 3rd place finish. Trey and Omar split the high jump tying for 1st place. Trey then goes out to long jump and get a big 19’5 jump to go first. James sets a new PR in Pole Vault and climbs up the all time list going 10’6. Paige Wins the Girls Vault going 11’6. Hurdlers earned their points today ! Juliana runs 2 new PRs and wins both the 100s and 300 hurdles! Elijah and Ray go 2nd 3rd in the 110s. Great job! Elijah also sets a new 330 hurdle PR ! NOW LETS TALK SCHOOL RECORDS !!!! Josh Baca goes 44’6 in the shot put to get the win and break the Boys School Record !!!!! Congratulations !
