Riverside , CA — ITS A GREAT DAY TO BE A TROJAN. First congratulations to all of our athletes who got some PR’s (Personal Records) All Four of our Girl 400 Meter runner came away with new PR’s. Congrats Vi, Lexi, Yujin and Marianna ! Who all improved by a full second or more. Julianna had a great showing in the hurdles taking home 2 medals a 2nd place finish in the 100s with almost a half second PR (18.42) and a 4th place finish in the 300s with a time of 51.96 Boys 4x100 team came away with a nice showing finishing 4th with a time of 45.96. Great job to Darius, Andres, Nick and Yunus Speaking of Yunus had himself a nice day taking 2nd in the Long Jump with a jump of 19’2 . James in the pole vault had a full foot PR and took second place with a jump of 10 feet not to bad for a guy who just started Vaulting a few weeks ago. Distance team came to compete today both Hailey and Rianna had some great PRs in the Mile. On the Boys side Carlos moved to 2nd ALL Time in the 3600 with his 4th place finish and an outstanding 15 SECOND PR (10:16). Throwers had a great day Josh had a nice 42’10 to PR by nearly a foot and Jake threw a 127 in the discus to take a 5th and a medal. Thank you so much to ALL of you that support this team.
