Santa Barbara, CA — Following our League Meet at home, DP traveled across town to San Marcos for a small invitational. Here were our notable performances: 1st and 2nd place in Boys Varsity 1600m, Tyler Jamieson and Luic Koroshec ran 4:52.34 and 4:53.12 respectively. Max Kubel threw two lifetime bests at Discus 119-00 (2nd place) and Shot Put 34-06 (5th place) in the Boys Varsity division. In Boys Varsity Pole Vault, the Chargers swept the top 3 places: 1. Eoghan Gloster with 11-00.00, 2. Thomas Chase cleared 10-06.00 with a PR and 4th best mark in League, and 3. Leif Kylander cleared 9-00.00 for a PR standing at 9th in League. In Girls Varsity, Ashley Hansen won the 1600m with a 5:52.79 finish. Phoebe Wolfe Lyons won the 300m Hurdles in 53.79 seconds. In Pole Vault, Sophie Dent cleared 7-06 to set her season record and win the event, and places her tied for 3rd Channel League standings. Juliana Vela took 3rd place in the 200m dash with 29.49 seconds. Taking 3rd in the 4x800m Relay with 10:27.18 were: Sophie Saleh, Maddy Myers, Ashley Hansen and Phoebe Wolfe Lyons.
