Danbury, CT — Ridgefield sent a squad of wrestlers to compete at the Danbury JV tournament. The format for the tourney was Madison weights and Round Robin with 4 and 5 man brackets. This meant all of our wrestlers were able to wrestle 3-4 matches and gain valuable mat time. Wyatt Podielsky and Marcello Tuminello finished first. We strong second place performances from Ryder, Sam McDonald, Lucas Locatelli and Josh Axen. The rest of the team wrestled tough and we loved to see the continued progression of our young wrestlers.
