Cameron, MO — The Chillicothe Hornets goys golf team, in their first tournament test of the season, came out of the cold and wind today as champions of the Cameron Invitational Tournament. Competitors from 12 schools teed off at 9:00 am, when the temperature was 35 degrees and a stiff north wind was blowing. Things weather-wise didn't get much better as the day went on. Two Hornets finished in the top 10 (James Mathew, T-3rd, and Jackson Trout, 7th), while Griff Bonderer, playing the course for the first time ever, placed T-11th.
