Lansing, MI — Ionia Varsity Wrestling team had a big night on the road tonight going 2-0 with big league win to start the night out against Lansing Sexton 54-26. Then beating Williamston in a close dual coming down to the last match with a final score of 40-35. Wrestlers going 2-0 tonight were Ricky Charon, Jackson Gallagher, Killian Campbell, Hunter Barker, Nate Clute, and Landen Steffen. Also getting a win on the night were wrestlers Levi Schied, Gabe Rogers, Austin Murphy, Victor Ledesma, Sarah Schafer, and Chase Holford. Ionia will be taking our Girl wrestlers to Fowlerville to compete in our first girls only tournament of the season, and our Varsity will travel to Lakeview Saturday for an individual tournament. Your bulldogs are now 9-6 on the season and 3-0 in the League. We will travel to Portland Next Wednesday for the League Championship.
