Norco, CA — Woodbridge remains a team favorite as the runners finished out their races with multiple personal bests. As the team toed the line for our 3 mile opening race, many runners surpassed their season long goals in their very first race. It proved to be a night filled with excitement and Personal Bests. It is hard to put into words just how proud we are of these athletes and all their hard work. 25 runners competed in their first race and set a personal record and 20 returning runners broke their previous personal record! These athletes had to sit down and write down a goal time to hit by the end of season and they broke them last night in their first race! Looks like it's time to set some new goals. Thank you to all of the athletes who came out to race. We hope you all had fun! We wanted to also thank the parents for coming out and supporting these athletes and this program, we all appreciate it! A special congratulations to our Boys Varsity for placing top 6th as a team! Here are a few facts about this team: -Last year our Boys Varsity team placed 12/21 teams and this year they were 6/26! -Last year our Boys Varsity team average was a 16:38 and this year they dropped that team average to 16:00! Congrats boys!
