Date: Saturday January 7, 2023 Location: Dublin Scioto High School Time: Weigh-ins @ 7 am Wrestling begins approximately @ 9:00 am Teams: Akron Firestone, Big Walnut, Columbus St. Francis DeSales, Dublin Scioto, Grove City, Licking Heights, Marysville, Mayfield, New Albany, Olentangy Berlin, Pickerington Central, Pickerington North, Watkins Memorial, Westerville Central, Westerville North, Worthington Kilbourne Rosters: Varsity line-up (plus any varsity-level extras) must be entered on Baumspage.com by 9pm on Thursday, January 5th. Coaches will be notified if any varsity-level extras do not get in ASAP. We will not move wrestlers to another weight class due to not making weight. Format: Four 4-man pools. The winner of each pool enters the championship semifinals for 1st-4th place. The runner-up of each pool enters the consolation semifinals for 5th-8th place. Alternative pool layouts may be used based on the number of wrestlers. Four 3-man pools, two 5-man pools, two 4-man pools, etc. Seeded wrestlers will be determined based on current record and additional information (State placements, District qualifier, etc.). All non-seedable wrestlers and byes (if any) will be assigned to the pools after all seeded wrestlers are placed onto the appropriate line. Any non-scoring extras will be separated from the scoring wrestler from the same team.
