Jackson, MI — Hanover Horton Girls Varsity Bowling team had a match tonight against the Dutchmen from Manchester at Jax60. The team made up of Halle Curtis, Sofia Donders, Madison Ashworth, Lana Gilliland, Kaytie Warren, and Makenzie LaFountain shot well in the first baker game but came up short in the second. We were only in the lead 6 to 4 going into match play. Our comets put together a nice game and captured the win in the second game with a final score of 24 to 6. High games go to Halle Curtis 198, Kaytie Warren 183, and Madison Ashworth 180. Next match is a double header on Saturday against East Jackson and Napoleon. Go Comets!! The Comets of Hanover-Horton Boys Bowling team were back home at Jax60 to take on the Dutchmen of Manchester. Team consisted of Lucas Cain, Nick Schuette, Sabastian Ramsey, Landon Murrell, Elijah Rodabaugh, Joe Davis and Jack Kittel. Down 10 points after bakers. Boys came out to compete in the first match play but, fell short in the end taking 2 points which 1 point came from 2 ties. Final score ended 27.5 - 2.5. Comets were led by Landon Murrell 191 (336) and Jack Kittel 233 (428). Next match is a doubleheader on Saturday against East Jackson and Napoleon starting at 9am at Jax60. Go Comets!!
