Jackson, MI — The HH JV Bowling team of Gabe O’Conner, Noah DeKamp, Jaxon Hart, Cooper Donders, Brooke Hadley, Abby Barba, and Kilee Feldpaush fell to a very good Michigan Center team tonight 6-24.
Tonight the team learned how to dig deep when things were not going well, and were able to pick themselves up and finish strong. Mental toughness was key tonight!

Hanover Horton Varsity Bowling girls team battled with the Cardinals from Michigan Center tonight at JAX60. The team made up of Halle Curtis, Sofia Donders, Madison Ashworth, Lana Gilliland, Kaytie Warren, and Makenzie LaFountain came up short in the first baker game but managed to put a few marks together for the second and capture 4 points to MC's 6. In regular match play we had a strong balanced performance in the first game and won. In the second game we challenged ourselves to fill frames with marks. The ladies did just that for 18 shots in a row before we had an open frame! That led to our best two game series this season of 1608! HH wins 21-9! High games go to Kaytie Warren 199 for a 374 series, Lana Gilliland 176 and Makenzie LaFountain 170. Next match is against Addison in Hudson on the Thursday. Go Comets!!
The Hanover Varsity Boys Bowling Team of Lucas Cain, Sebastian Ramsey, Nick Schuette, Grant Cure, Landon Murrell, Elijah Rodabaugh and Jack Kittel rolled into Jax60 to bowl against the Cardinals of Michigan Center. After loosing both Baker Games, the Comets of Hanover we’re looking to get something started. Down 10 points going into regular match play the Comets of Hanover struggled to get things going but, managed 3 points in the first game and 7 points in the second game. Hanover was defeated 10-20. Leading the way was Landon Murrell with games of 158 and a NEW PR of 198 (356) followed by Jack Kittel 217 (397).
Next match is Thursday vs Addison at Hudson Lanes.
