Amherst, VA — Today, we crossed the mountain to Amherst County High School for our final event before Christmas and the final Varsity event of 2022. The 5 team round robin tournament went fast and we were home by 240. We went 1-3 on the day. Losing to Amherst County 42-18, Rockbridge County 60-18, and Parry McClure 48-18. We beat Randolph Henry 36-18. Individually, we were led by Cole who had 4 wins. Mason Graber and Chris Dray both had 3 wins on the day. Chris Fix and Joey Hibshman had 2 wins each. Our 8th graders also got some mat time. Jordan Bean was 2-1 on the day. Unity and Stephen also won their exhibition matches. We'll take the next 5 days off to spend time with our families for Christmas. We hope you all have a Merry Christmas, and we'll see you on the mat after Christmas.
