Charlottesville, VA — This weekend, we competed in the Rivanna River Rumble at Charlottesville High School. As a team, we went 1-4 with losses to Charlottesville, Courtland, Amelia, and the Covenant School. We beat Monticello. While we lost a lot as a team, our record as individuals was impressive going 18-7 in head to head matches. Top varsity performers were Chris Dray who went 5-0, Chris Fix and Joey Hibshman both going 4-1, and Cole Bartels with a 3-2 record. for the JV wrestlers, Jordan Bean was 2-0, and Lilly Sanner, Parker Riedel both went 1-0.
