Wichita, KS — Good afternoon, Mavericks! The homecoming parade is scheduled for Wednesday, September 21st. Students will be released around 12:45 to join their floats. We are the 12th float in the line-up. I will be there with our decorated 'JAWS' float (bass boat), truck, and shark gummy candies to throw (where appropriate). I will have a cooler with iced water for our participants. It is going to be VERY HOT. Please wear sunscreen, hats, decent walking shoes (for walkers), and appropriate beach-wear-themed clothes. Participants' attire must be school dress code appropriate. Unfortunately, our team uniform itself is not allowed. If you have any swimming or diving bling/awards like medals, wear them.
