Dow loses tough battle in extra innings
The Charger Baseball team put together a tremendous comeback in the bottom of the seventh with three runs to take it to extra innings. Mount Pleasant scored one run the eighth and Dow could not push any home in the bottom of the inning. Dow was led offensively by Billy VanSumeren who was 2-4 eith an rbi and a run scored. Nolan Sanders was 2-5 eith a run scored. Nolan Sanders Pitched five innings giving up 3 runs and striking out 5. Jack Bakus threw the final 3 innings picking up the hard fought loss. the Chargers are 4-3 and play at Powers tomorrow. the second game was called after 3 innings and will resume later in the year if needed.
