Punxsutawney, PA — The Boys and Girls Track Team traveled on a rainy Thursday to the home of that lying little Rodent Punxy Phil to take on the Chucks. The Tigers had a clean sweep of today’s contest with the girls posting a 97-52 win and the boys coming out on top 90-60. Marin Miller again paced the Lady Tigers, this time with 4 individual wins taking the 100m, 200m, 400m and the Long Jump. Marin has been undefeated in the 5 dual meets this seasons. Alli Burk was a double winner taking the 300hurdles and he 3200m. Other ladie event winners include Cali Bainey 100 Hurdles, Lily Jodon High Jump and Jenna Wilt matching her school record in the Pole Vault. Other top 3 finishers include Addy Davis and Nina Meadows in the Hurdles, Sophia Moyer 100m, 400m and Long Jump, Maddie Shanafelt 1600m and 3200m, Cece Williams 800m, Elizabeth Frazier and Ellen Yarnell in the 200m, Emily Clapper in the High and Triple Jumps, Lily Ansley Pole Vault and Zoey Wilt in the Javelin. The 4x100m relay team of Ellen Yarnell, Lily Jodon, Anna Strayer and Elizabeth were winners as was the 4x400 of Alli Burk, Sophia Moyer, Anna Strayer and Aubree Waksmonski. For the Boys, Caden DeLattre, Isaac Yarnell and Owen Bender were double winners takin* the TJ and LJ, the 200m 400m and 100 Hurdles and 300 Hurdles respectively. Other event winners were Chris Miknis Javelin, Vincent Franco Discus, Chris Love 3200m and Ryan Frank 100m. Other Tigers earnigntop 3 finishes were Jake Clapper and Nate Grabil High Jump, Dylan Wasney Triple Jump, Christian White Shot and Discus, Chris Love and Abe Manfred 1600m, Sebastian Diaz and Don Watt in the 800m, Drew Wyland and Jake Clapper 400m, Josh Bueno and Spencer Delgudice in the Hurdles. The 4x400 relay of Isaac Yarnell, Drew Wyland, Elijah Ransom and Ryan Frank also we’re winners.
