The South Pasadena Freshman Tigers lost to league rival San Marino on Thursday, March 17, falling 14-4. The Tigers fought hard, tying the game at two apiece in the fourth inning on Bob Rosenberg's timely two-run hit in the fourth. However, the game slipped away with rough fifth and sixth innings.
