South Pasadena Pitching Dominates Cathedral
The South Pasadena Junior Varsity Tigers outlasted the Cathedral Phantoms 1-0 in a well-played pitching dual at home on Saturday. Carlo Williams was dominant over 6 innings, mixing his pitches and keeping the Cathedral batters off balance. Williams gave up no runs and struck out 3. Pitcher Benjamin Regan closed the door on the Tigers’ opponents, aided by sharp defense and a pickoff of a runner at first.
