Barbie earned a medal with her 9th place finish in giant slalom and missed a medal in slalom by .03 of a second, in a very tough field of female skiers. Not only is Barbie a fast skier, she is a great leader who is a great example of how having the "Best Attitude" can help those around her.

Girls take 5th at the Cadillac Invitational
Cadillac , MI —
"The girls skied great today! We had a last minute change to our line up and the team really stepped up with some great skiing today from our veteran skier and our new skiers a like. We took fifth in both events and were real close to our conference opponent Mattawan/Paw Paw" Coach Petrosky "Barbie DeGood really had a nice race today against some of the best girls skiers in our area. She medaled in GS and just missed a medal in slalom to lead the way for the girls team."

CADILLAC , MI — Cadillac High School hosts this race each year that features a variety of teams from northern, mid and southwestern Michigan. The race is held on Caberfae Peaks famous South Peak with Slalom on Liberty and Giant Slalom on Gigi's Ridge, the location of this years regionals.
