JV Lions Pull Off Comeback and Win Wild Game Over Braves
The JV Lions conquered the St. John Bosco Braves in a dramatic come-from-behind, walk-off 4-3 victory. The Lions were trailing 3-2 in the bottom of the seventh with two outs when Matt Radgona singled on a 0-2 count, scoring two runs. The Lions take the rubber match to win the highly contested series and improve their league record to 7-2. Cameron Maloney and Braden Wellen represented the Lions on the bump. Next up, the Lions battle the Servite Friars in a three-game series starting on Tuesday in Anaheim.
