Santa Ana, CA — On Wednesday, May 19th, the varsity team traveled to the oldest golf course in Orange County - Willowick golf course in Santa Ana, to play our final wave league match of the year against Fountain Valley HS. The players responded with our best team score of the year, posting a total of 218 on the par 35 course. Freshman Russell Franconi-Krychman shot the low Laguna Beach score, coming in with a four-over-par score of 39. Oliver Mackel and Jake Cutter followed, with both of them posting a score of 42. Luke Hendrickson (47), Harrison Judd (48) and Kason Schilling (49) rounded out the Breakers' scoring. Over the last two weeks, the team has posted our three lowest team scores of the year, so it's nice to see everyone playing well going into our end-of-the-year, Wave League tournament starting on May 25th.
