Passaic, NJ — Clifton Mustangs Varsity beat Passaic 6-2 on Monday at Passaic Stadium. Manny Gonzalez was on the mound again, throwing all seven innings while allowing only four hits. Passaic's pitcher Flores challenged Clifton's best hitters with his arching slow ball pitches, lasting four innings until Clifton started to adjust. Clifton only racked up eight hits in the day from Jayden Severino, Kyle Vellis, Josh Miller, Juan Peralta and Manny Gonzalez. Passaic will come to Clifton's Nash Park on Wednesday.
