Clifton, NJ — The Mustangs varsity shutout Passaic Valley on Friday, ending the game 10-0 in the bottom of the sixth on a double by Juan Peralta. The Mustangs had 14 hits to PV's two hits. Vinny Civitella had 13 strikeouts in six innings. The Mustangs also had seven stolen bases, while Nick Plaskon threw out a runner on PV's only attempted steal. Jayden Severino, Kyle Vellis, Juan Peralta, Vinny Civitella, Josh Miller and Connor Reed all had multiple hits in the game. Dane Mocera and Justin Rivera also added a hit.
