Performance

Claudia skied well on SL both runs. She did a great job as the pace setter for GS by coming back up top right away to explain course tips to her team.

CO-MVP

Emily Dean

Emily skied strong in both events. You could hear her determination as she screamed with effort as she launched out of the start.

Danielle Miron

Danielle pushed hard at the top of GS and carried speed down the course.

Barbie DeGood

Barbie stayed high in the lines of the GS course and did a good job of not sliding and scrubbing speed.

Mya Baldwin

Mya had a lower body position than what we have seen previously. She has refined her skiing skills and gets faster every run.

Evalynn Schlett

Evie watched the course for the big turns on GS and stayed loose to make sure her edges connected. Smart racing allowed for good finishes.

Kyleigh Thompson

Kyleigh skated the entire flat of GS course 2 when others in her flight just glided the top. You could see the greater speed as a big difference for her.

Girls take 6th at a very tough Regional at Cannonsburg

Belmont, MI — The temperatures at Cannonsburg were warmer than expected due to the great skiing that happened on its slopes Monday. The Caledonia girls team skied well but East Grand Rapids, Cadillac and Grand Rapids Christian were on fire as they all advance to the State Finals on February 22nd at Nub's Nob.
