Bears fall to Hoover 50-41
The polar bears had a tough home opener versus Federal League rival, Hoover. The bears fell 50-41. They jumped out to a 14-11 lead after the first quarter and went into the half tied at 23. Sophomores Lauren Pallotta and Leena Patibandla lead the way with 15 and 12 points a piece. Emma Dretke grabbed 8 rebounds and scored 7 points. In the end the bears couldn’t overcome the 18 turnovers that fueled Hoovers 4th quarter pull away.
