Kennedy Drops Second Game in Elks Tourney
The Fighting Irish of Kennedy High School welcomed the Eleanor Roosevelt High School Mustangs to their La Palma field Friday afternoon as they continued competition in the 2020 Elks Tournament. Wyatt Johnson took the mound for the Irish and turned in a strong outing, scattering 8 hits while going 6 2/3 innings. Of the 3 runs he allowed, one was unearned. He also set down 8 batters on strikeouts. He was relieved by Brett Clark who got out of a jam in the 7th by forcing a weak popup.
